I may be ov...What a neat way to recycle milk jugs. I may be overthinking this but it looked like the edges are a bit "sharp" for birds feet. I had some 1/4"flexible tubing & cut it so it fit the bottom edge of the access from side to side. Then I slit the tube lengthwise & slipped it over the bottom edge. The tension holds it snug.
